This product is a solvent based 3-part gloss coating suitable for use on ceramics and metals.
Description Subli Glaze™
Subli Glaze™ Frosted Coating facilitates the image transfer allowing sublimation inks to bond onto the polymer substrate; without Subli Glaze™ Frosted Coating the image will not transfer.
Use it to
- Provide a frosted polymer layer which sublimation inks can bond to allow effective image transfer.
Important Information
Once mixed lacquer should be used within 3 hours. Clean using conventional gun wash or PU thinners.
How to use Subli Glaze™ Frosted Coating
Spray using a conventional spray gun and cure by drying.
Typical drying times at room temperature are:
- Touch dry after 2 hours.
- Hard dry after 24 hours.
- Fully cured after 72 hours.
Force cure at 200 ºC for 15 to 20 minutes.
Mixing Instructions
For 5ltrs of Subli Glaze™ Frosted Coating mix with:
- 1.65ltrs of SG75 Subli Glaze™ Hardener
- 250ml of SG80 Subli Glaze™ Catalyst
